Bigger Player|
Here till now in Folding smartphone war, “samsung” is getting highest sales around the globe.
Other close competitor are Huawei, Motorola, lg, mi.
Based on rumors other big brands are also going to jump in this war, like Apple, Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus.
Future|
Till now all Folding Smartphone made by all this brands are made up of Plastic Layer rather using glass, yes plastic having some natural flexible property but at the same time its prone to blemishes and scratches compared to its original smartphone glasses.
Price for right now foldable devices cost 2-3 times more than mid-high end smartphones. Prices will decrease in the near future if there will be more competition or low R&D costs. Because companies like Samsung spend billions of dollars on their research.
Conclusion|
Look at the emerging market of Foldable smartphones. There will be huge growth in this segment because people’s average time spending on smartphones increases day by day.
The only drawback rightnow is there is no glass on the display.(samsung galaxy z flip claim that they have used “30 micrometer” ultra thin glass). Any way what do you think about the folding war of this companies? Will you go for it? Let me know by commenting down below. Thak you…
